US Naval Academy Parent’s Club

USNA Home PageImage

Welcome to the US Naval Academy Central Florida Parent’s Club website.

Our goal is to provide support for Central Florida parents, their plebes and midshipmen. In addition we want to help stimulate the development of relationships between USNA families in a positive environment. Our club is also a great resource for USNA candidates and their families to learn more about the US Naval Academy.

We accomplish this through several activities throughout the year, such as the Welcome Aboard summer plebe picnic, specifically designed for plebes and their families to allow them to meet other USNA Midshipmen and their families. In addition, the club gets together for Navy football games and other gatherings in order to facilitate social interaction and the dissemination of pertinent information about the academy.

We have also developed a valuable resource in the Plebe Family Handbook. You will find the contents of this handbook on the website under Plebe Info.

Please feel free to contact our club officers with any questions you may have about the Club or the Academy.

Ryann Watters and the King’s Sword

Kings SwordAre you looking for something special to give as a gift to a young person this Christmas?  Well I have a wonderful suggestion for you and a great deal as well.  Eric Reinhold a Club member, a USNA grad and local Central Florida resident; he has published this wonderful book series with interactive online contests, critiques and updates.  He has also donated a copy of his book last year to the Club for a door prize.  Based on critics review Eric’s book has been compared in some ways to the Harry Potter series but more faith based, as well as C.S. Lewis on the more youthful side.  Eric’s book is available at the Midstore (my favorite shopping place) and online if you are interested.  If you should make a purchase mention that you are a USNA parent/family he will be more than delighted to personally autograph the books for you.  Happy Holidays!!!

“Ryann Watters and the King’s Sword,” book 1 in the Annals of Aeliana series makes the perfect Christmas gift for kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews and friends (ages 7-15) for so many reasons, but here are just a few:

  • Safe and Unapologetically Christian message for kids that points them towards the Bible.
  • Clearly defined ‘Good versus Evil’ with Good winning in the end (excerpts at www.ryannwatters.com).
  • The series takes place in the real town of Mount Dora, Florida, so a visit to Disney can include a side trip to experience details in the story.
  • Just in time to get the kids appetite wet for the 400+ pages coming in book 2 this Spring!
  • You can read reviews from kids and parents on the website, plus a new video trailer of the book is up now, but here are a few comments on Ryann Watters.
  • 50% off on 1 copy and Special buy 4 at 50% off, get 1 FREE and FREE Shipping!
  • 50% Off CHRISTMAS SALE on author signed copies Plus 2 FREE bookmarkers
